Dr. Shahram Lotfipour
The UC Irvine Center for Trauma & Injury Prevention Research (CTIPR) was created in 2004 with the mission to reduce traumatic injury.
Our path to this goal includes:
- Conducting multidisciplinary research
- Translating research into policy and practice
- Serving as a regional and national resource
- Working in close partnership with communities
The center’s faculty and staff include experienced researchers in the fields of epidemiology, traffic safety, programmatic development, health policy and public health. They have received funding from professional medical organizations, corporate entities and state and federal agencies.
